PRAYER :- For Bail in S.C. No. 29/2016 on the file of the Sessions Fast Tack Mahila Court, Kanniyakumari at Nagercoil. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner is arrayed as accused No.1. He was arrested and remanded to Judicial Custody on 27.10.2019 for the offences punishable under sections 450 and 394 of I.P.C., in Crime No.135 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.

3. The petitioner was absconding for more than two years. As a result, the case in which he was the accused has been split up. It is stated that the trial in this case is yet to begin. Therefore, the learned trial Magistrate is directed to amalgamate both the cases. After the trial commences and the petitioner also cross examines, this Court would be inclined to consider the bail petition.

4. Taking note of the long period of abscondance, I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
