RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order modifying the condition of deposit of Rs.84,750/- imposed upon the petitioner vide order of this Honble Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14378 of 2022 dated 01.09.2022.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.RAJA MOHAMED.B.N., Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.M.VEERANTHIRAN, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and other accused have applied for anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14378 of 2022 and this Court, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, had directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.84,750/- to the credit of crime number before the trial Court concerned.

He would further submit that the petitioner, due to his poor financial status, is unable to raise such a huge fund and thereby, the present petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition to deposit a sum of Rs.84,750/-.

2.He would further submit that the petitioner has raised a sum of Rs.43,000/- and he is ready to make a non refundable deposit to the credit of District Revenue Officer, Tirunelveli. The petitioner has also filed an affidavit of undertaking to that effect. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.724 of 2023 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14378 of 2022, dated 01.09.2022, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall make a non refundable deposit of Rs.43,000/- to the credit of District Revenue Officer, Tirunelveli District. sd/- 23/01/2023 / TRUE COPY / /02/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
