respondent in Letter No.Ser.3(4)/99429/2009 dated 05.10.2012 directing the third respondent to revise the panel of Deputy Tahsildars in Virudhunagar District in pursuance to the order dated 09.03.2012 in W.A.[MD]Nos.1285 to 1290 of 2011 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the third respondent to retain the panel of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2009 issued by the third respondent.

Accordingly, the benefit of the judgment of the Supreme Court is extended to the officials concerned.

2.In view of the fact that the issues had already been decided by the Apex Court and settled, no further adjudication is required and the case of the writ petitioners are also to be considered with reference to the orders passed by the Apex Court. 3.With these observations, the writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
