ORDER
These Criminal Original petitions have been filed for a direction to direct the second and third respondents to provide necessary police protection, to the petitioner`s life and limb, and for the peaceful running the saloon in the name and style of Raju Saloon and also for the peaceful living of the petitioner and her family member in the house situated in Old No.4B, New No.15/A, Varthagan Street, Rameshwaram, Ramanathapuram District, respectively.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.636 of 2020 is running a saloon and the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 638 of 2020 is a tenant in the residential portion of the premises respectively comprised in Old No.4B, New No.15/A, Varthagan Street, Rameshwaram, Ramanathapuram District. The owner of the property died, now the fourth respondent who claims to be legal heir and the fifth and sixth respondent who claims to the adjacent land owners are trying to evict the petitioners without due process of law.
3. Today, when the mater is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint of the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.638 of 2020 has been received by the respondent and based on which enquiry has been initiated in CSR No. 13 of 2020 on 08.01.2020 and during enquiry if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.
4. Recording the same, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
