ORDER

The petitioner had sent a representation on 06.01.2025 seeking protection from the harassment caused by the respondent police and also not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that the respondents 4, 5 and 6 are brothers. The fourth respondent had earlier lodged a complaint against the petitioner and there are two cases pending against him. In one case, investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed. Thereafter, recently, the present complaint was lodged and the case has been assigned CSR No.1083 of 2025 and it is also now closed. As on date, the petitioner is not required for any enquiry as the case against him has already been closed. He further submits that if any complaint is registered in future, the petitioner would be summoned for the purpose of enquiry and it cannot be termed as harassment.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner has got two previous cases and being an accused, calling him for enquiry cannot be termed as 2/4

harassment. It is also informed that the complaint lodged against the petitioner was closed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
