ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the respondent herein, under which the passport of the petitioner was impounded on the basis of pendency of certain criminal proceedings.

2. On instructions, the learned Central Government Counsel for the respondent submits that the impounded passport has already been released and the status of the passport was restored. Hence, the order impugned in the writ petition has already been recalled by the respondent authority.

3. In view of the above said facts, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. This Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 22.09.2022 Index :
