Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned revised list of Deputy Tahsildar for Dindigul District for the year 2006 in A1/16231/2009 (DT 2006) dated 11.10.2012, the revised list of Deputy Tahsildar for Dindigul District for the year 2009 in A1/16231/2009 (DT 2006) dated 11.10.2012, the revised list of Tahsildar for Dindigul District for the year 2010 and the subsequent order of reversion in Na.Ka.No.2/2012/A1 dated 14.11.2012 on the file of the third respondent and quash the same to the extent of deleting the name of the petitioner from the list of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2006 and from the list of Tahsildar for the year 2010 and placing the petitioner in the revised list of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2009 and consequently to direct the third respondent to redraw the Revised List of Deputy Tahsildar for the year 2006 and in the List of Tahsildar for the year 2010 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the writ petitioner made a submission that the issues in relation to the promotion to the post of Tahsildar was adjudicated by the Supreme Court of India and a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

judgment was delivered in favour of the writ petitioners. Accordingly, the benefit of the judgment of the Supreme Court is extended to the officials concerned.

2.In view of the fact that the issues had already been decided by the Apex Court and settled, no further adjudication is required and the case of the writ petitioner is also to be considered with reference to the orders passed by the Apex Court. 3.With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
