ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue land distribution deed for S.No.1921, T.Edaiyapati Village, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District.
2. According to the petitioner, he is in possession of the above said property on the basis of a gift executed by Inbaseva Sangam in the year 1980. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the lands in the said locality originally belonged to one Zamindar and he had donated the same to the first respondent herein. Inbaseva Sangam had gathered the beneficiaries list and submitted the same to the first respondent herein, so that, they can issue land distribution deeds in favour of the said beneficiaries. Based upon the said beneficiaries list, the petitioner is said to be in possession of the property in dispute. However, the first respondent herein has so far not granted deed of indenture in favour of the petitioner, based upon the beneficiaries list submitted by the said Inbaseva Sangam. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus as against the first respondent for issuance of deed of indenture. 2/4

Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submits that the first respondent has received beneficiaries list, in which the petitioner's name is also found. However, the same has to be considered on merits and finalized by the Board. The beneficiaries list is yet to be finalized and hence, he seeks some time to finalise the beneficiaries list by the first respondent herein.
4. The above stated facts would clearly reveal that the petitioner is yet to be allotted a plot in his favour by the first respondent Board and he is awaiting orders from the first respondent. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the beneficiaries list for the above said survey number and pass orders within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
