the impugned order dated 26.07.2011 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same.
2. It has been pointed out that after the filing of Writ Petition, the Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women and Children (Regulation) Act, 2014 has come into force with effect from 21.02.2015 and the Division Bench of this Court, by order dated 31.01.2019, in W.P.(MD)No.494 of 2019, has specifically held that no hostel shall function across the State from 01.03.2019 without the licence issued by the statutory authority under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women and Children (Regulation) Act, 2014.
3. In view of the same, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to make necessary application for licence before the concerned Authority under the Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women and Children (Regulation) Act, 2014. He has also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.
