Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for sports competition tournament, Festival and Amman oorvalam at Mettupatti, Dindigul District tournament, dated 13.01.2022, 14.01.2022 and 15.01.2022 based on the petitioner's application, dated 06.01.2022 within the period stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner undertakes to conduct the petition mentioned event by tomorrow itself. The jurisdictional District Superintendent of Police will permit the petitioner to do so. The petitioner, of course, has to adhere the Covid protocols and other conditions that may be stipulated by the jurisdictional District Superintendent of Police.

3. Recording the said undertaking, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
