ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Principal District Judge (PCR Court) Theni, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.621/2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that a dispute prevails between the petitioners and the de facto complainant relating to the operation of a gas agency. The allegations stem from monetary and commercial rivalry and not from any intention to commit offences under the SC/ST (POA) Act. 2/5

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Principal District Judge(PCR Court) Theni, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of their surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.621 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. The petitioners shall surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
