The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to directing the respondents herein to fill up the available post of Assistant Director of Agriculture from the panel issued by the first respondent dated 27.01.2012.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the name of the writ petitioner was considered for inclusion in the panel for the year 2017-2018 and accordingly, he was promoted as Assistant Director of Agriculture and now working at Virudhunagar District.
