Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to directing the Respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 13 for their illegal activities of excommunication of the petitioner and his family members and conducting katta panchayat and imposing fine, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2021. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to take appropriate action against the respondents 6 to 13 for their illegal activities of excommunication of the petitioner and his family members and conducting katta panchayat and imposing fine, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2021.

2. While pending the Writ Petition, the fifth respondent conducted enquiry on 11.01.2022. On the said enquiry, the respondents 6 to 13 appeared and gave undertaking not to disturb the petitioner in future and that they would never ex-communicate the petitioner and his family members. Recording the same, the enquiry was closed on 24.01.2022.

3. In view of the above, the respondents 6 to 13 are directed not to indulge in illegal activities of ex-communicating the petitioner and his family members on conducting any katta panchayat on the petitioner and his family members. If they indulge in such illegal activities in future, the fifth respondent is directed to take appropriate action as against the respondents 6 to 13 in manner known to law.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
