Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner to any schools in Thiruvannamalai District which comes under the third respondent in the vacancies notified in notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019.

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner to any schools in Coimbatore District which comes under the third respondent in the vacancies notified in notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019.

2.The prayer in all the writ petitions is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioners to any Schools in Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri and Coimbatore Districts, which come under the third respondent, in the vacancies notified vide notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019. 3.The sheet-anchor of the petitioners' case discloses that the relief sought for by them is based on the notification issued by the third respondent for the year 2018-2019. Further, it is seen that the writ petitions were filed in the year 2020 and till date, there is no interim order in favour of the petitioners. In such circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioners cannot be granted at this length of time. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the Authority concerned, if they are otherwise found to be eligible, as per the Government guidelines for the year 2021-2022.

4.With the above liberty, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
