ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2025, carry out an enquiry, and effect the transfer of the patta in the petitioner's name within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in question and that a representation dated 01.12.2025 was made to the third respondent seeking transfer of the patta in the petitioner's name. Despite repeated requests, the third respondent has not considered the representation or conducted any enquiry. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.12.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, and all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the same on its own merits. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
