O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the notification issued by the third respondent dated 28.12.2023, under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has approached this Court in a premature stage. Hence, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. If the petitioner has any grievance, he has to make an objection before the Tahsildar and if any such objection is received, the Tahsildar is directed to consider the said objection, before issuing notice under Section 6 of the Act. It is made clear that since the Section 7 notification has not been served to the petitioner, there shall not be 2/4

any coercive steps till such time.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
