Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to Letter No.AEE/O&M/CMPT/CI/F.THEFT/D.No. 245/2011 dated 12.08.2011 issued by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently directing the 3rd respondent herein to restore the Agriculture Power Supply to the Electricity Service Connection No.233, Tariff IV, Thalivasal Distribution, Thalivasal, Palaviduthi West and pass any such further or other orders as this Hon ble Court may deem fit.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.What is under challenge is only an order of provisional assessment. In the impugned communication dated 12.08.2011, it has been clearly stated that if the petitioner is desirous of filing objections, he can do so. Without doing so, the petitioner rushed to this Court. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to lodge his objections within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4
WP(MD)No.9674 of 2011 period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of objections from the petitioner, the respondent can proceed as per law. If the petitioner fails to lodge any objection within the aforesaid period, it is open to the respondents to take action as per law. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The contentions of the petitioner are left open. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
