Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying this Court, for a direction to the respondents herein to not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry in a civil dispute raised by the said Manickavelan and his men against the petitioners contrary to the Police Standing Orders. ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents herein to not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry in a civil dispute raised by the said Manickavelan and his men against the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and also the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) for respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the civil suit is pending between the parties.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case a direction is issued to the respondents not to harass the petitioners and the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
