ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused Rank Not Known, who apprehends arrest at the hands 1/4
of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 505(2) & 506(i) of IPC and 67 of IT Act, 2000, in Crime No.Not Known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is belonging to the political party namely, 'Nam Tamilar Party'. He made a defamatory statement as against the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and published the same in the Social Media. Thereby, the defacto complainant made a complaint before the Law Enforcing Agency. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and she has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that earlier occasion, this Court directed the petitioner to publish the regret post in the Social Media and the same has been complied with.
To prove the same, he has produced the document. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that in the document produced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner again repeated the earlier defamatory statement against the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Even still the petitioner has not corrected himself.

5. This Court perused the defamatory statement against the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and perused the document produced by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that even in the regret post also the petitioner repeated the earlier defamatory statement against the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
