O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the third respondent to conclude the proceedings for cancellation of the Legal Heir certificate issued by the fourth respondent on 17.06.2016.

2. Aggrieved over the Legal Heir Certificate issued for the death of the petitioner's adopted mother, namely, Subbammal, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the third respondent for cancellation of the said Legal Heir Certificate. However, the said appeal is pending from May 2025 onwards. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
