ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in respect of the land situated in Irai Chinnapatti Village, Survey No.215/1, measuring about 493.80 Sq. Mtr. (12 cents), Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, owned by the petitioner's Pangalies (Pangalikalukku paathiyapatta) namely, Goddess Virkali and other deities viz., Sri Kaliamman, Rakkatchi, Sonai Karuppasamy, Agni Veerapathran, Nondi Muneeswarar and Muthu Sonai, in the name of Virkalamman Temple with 21 Parivara Gods, as reflected in the revenue records, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the subject land measuring about 493.80 Sq. Mtr. (12 cents) in Survey No.215/1, Irai Chinnapatti Village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, is a temple property belonging to the petitioner's Pangalies and is dedicated to Goddess Virkali and other deities, namely Sri Kaliamman, Rakkatchi, Sonai Karuppasamy, Agni Veerapathran, Nondi Muneeswarar, and Muthu Sonai. The said property is being enjoyed and managed as a religious endowment, and the revenue records already reflect the temple's interest in the land. In order to safeguard the temple property and ensure proper administration, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 28.11.2025 to the respondents seeking issuance of patta in the name of Virkalamman Temple with 21 Parivara Gods. Despite the submission of the said representation, the respondents have failed to consider and pass orders within a reasonable time. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
