ORDER:- Writ Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. AN. Ramanathan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. SRA. Ramachandran, Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R4 and of Mrs. M. Aasha, Government Advocate for R5 & R6, this court made the following order: This matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.
2. It is learnt that the parties have not conducted the festival on 16.01.2024 and 17.01.2024 in a peaceful manner. According to the official respondents, there was a peace committee meeting held. But, there was no consensus arrived between them, since only A party agree and B party did not agree. It is found that both the parties did not cooperate with the revenue officials for conducting the festival.
3. In view of the above, the revenue authorities shall take appropriate decision regarding the conduct of any festival in future, till both party agree for common ritual.
