CRIME NO.38 OF 2018 ... RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant an order of extension of time for a further period of ten days in Crl.OP(MD)No.19108 of 2018 dated 08.02.2019 passed by this Hon'ble Court.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.SARAVANAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed seeking extension of further two weeks time for payment of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs Only). 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) is ready with the hand's of the petitioner and he is ready to hand over the same to the defacto complainant and remaining sum of Rs.6,00,000/- will be paid within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Today, the defacto complainant and the petitioner are present before this Court. The petitioner has handed over a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- to the defacto complainant.

4.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.38 of 2018 at the time of furnishing sureties before the trial Court on or before 02.04.2019. After receipt of the said amount, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tiruchirapalli shall disburse the same in favour of the defacto complainant without filing any application. 5.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
