This Writ Petition is filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to refrain from providing LCO to the fourth respondent in the Petitioner's area of cable operation and to direct the existing LCO under the first respondent/Corporation not to provide signal to the fourth respondent for transmitting signal in the Petitioner's area. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Upon notice, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 as well as the learned counsel for the fourth respondent appeared. The learned counsel for the fourth respondent has produced proceedings of the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited, Chennai-8/the first respondent herein, in Se.Mu.No.B1/2019, dated 27.01.2020.
The said order is passed after filing of this Writ Petition, as per which, the fourth respondent/S.Abilasha Meche has been issued the LCO 50985 temporarily. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the Writ Petitioner has become infructuous. It is open to the Petitioner to challenge the LCO issued to the fourth respondent independently. 4.In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
