The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor/ respondent for his deliberate and willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 31.01.2023 passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1751 of 2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in pursuance of the direction of this Court, the respondent police has filed a final report dated 15.01.2024 through E-filing and recording the same, this petition may be closed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has produced the copy of the final report.
