PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.19 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.07.2020 for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) r/w 25 of NDPS Act in crime No.19 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused were in illegal possession of 36 kg of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in prison from 07.07.2020 and he is suffering from some ailments and taking treatment in the prison hospital. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation has been completed and charge sheet also filed in C.C.No.273 of 2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.891 of 2021 5.It is seen that there is no violation of Section 37 against the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed. However, it is seen that the petitioner is suffering from some health ailments. Hence, it would be appropriate to give a direction to the Court below to complete the trial within a time frame. Accordingly, the Court below is directed to give preference to this case and complete the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
