PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents t to 3 to take immediate legal action against the private respondents 4 to 8 who conducted an illegal procession and Jallikattu event on 16.12.2025 inside the premises of Arulmigu Chinniah Swamy Temple, Thiruppathur, Sivagagani District without obtaining permission from the competent authorities and further directing the respondents 1 to 3 to prohibit any festival, procession or Jallikattu event in the said temple premises till the disposal of the civil suit in O.S.No.48 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Thiruppathur in the interest of public safety and maintenance of law and order by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2025.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents respondents t to 3 to take immediate legal action against the private respondents 4 to 8 who conducted an illegal procession and Jallikattu event on 16.12.2025 inside the premises of Arulmigu Chinniah 2/5

Swamy Temple, Thiruppathur, Sivagagani District without obtaining permission from the competent authorities.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel for the respondents 4 to 8 would submit that no Jallikattu was conducted, the temple bull was taken on a procession through the streets.

3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 20.01.2026 NCC: Yes/No Internet:Yes/No tta 3/5
