(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.11.2011 and to take action for removal of encroachment by restoring the said land for communal use in survey No.127/1 in Kollukadu Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District. 2.

There is no representation for the petitioner. Heard Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The writ petitioner claims that some encroachment has taken place in the year 2011 in survey no.127/1 in Kollukadu Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District and hence, representations dated 30.10.2011 and 10.11.2011 were submitted to the authorities, however, the same were not considered. 2/5

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to keep this matter pending any further. Hence, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 30.10.2011 and 10.11.2011, if not considered earlier, and if there is any encroachment as claimed by the petitioner, necessary action has be taken by the authorities in accordance with law for removing the encroachment. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
