ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of Survey No.1024/1D, measuring an extent of 0.17 cents, situated at R.Pudhukottai Village, Guziliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the lawful owner and is in possession of the subject property. Despite the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025, the second respondent has failed to consider the request for issuance of patta. Such inaction on the part of the second respondent is arbitrary, unreasonable, and contrary to the settled principles of law. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

Recording the aforesaid submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second respondent is directed to provide reasonable opportunity during such enquiry to the petitioner and any other persons who may be affected by such decision. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
