PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying this Court to transfer the case in Crime No. 238/2019 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrusted the case to the file of the 4th respondent and file the final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the case in Crime No. 238/2019, pending on the file of the third respondent and entrusted the case to the file of the fourth respondent and file the final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stated that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet in S.C.No.229 of 2020, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Additional District Judge, Thoothukudi.

3.Therefore, transfer of investigation become infructuous. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
