For Respondent : Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.46 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- When the matter was taken up for hearing on 29.03.2021, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the matter may be referred to the Mediation Centre for settling the issue. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the matter was also referred to the Mediation Centre.

2. After getting interim order from this Court, the petitioners have not taken any steps to resolve the issues. The matter is kept pending for the past about nine months and it has not been listed for about two months.

3. Considering the conduct of the petitioners in obtaining an order of interim protection by submitting that there is a possibility of settlement and thereafter not taking any steps to resolve the issue, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh application, if so advised.
