The learned Counsel for the writ petitioner made a submission that on account of the developments took place during the pendency of the writ petition, the promotions were considered and the case of the writ petitioner shall be considered in the arising vacancy in the respondent college.

2.In this regard, the writ petitioner is at liberty to submit an application to consider his case for promotion in the arising vacancy and if any such claim is pending, the same shall be considered along with all other eligible candidates at the time of grant of promotion in accordance with the Rules in force. 3.With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
