These writ petitions have been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 5 and 6 not to harass the petitioners and direct the respondents 1 to 4 to initiate action against the sixth respondent based upon the petitioners' representation, dated 24.02.2012. 2/4

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the civil cases, pending before the Principal District Court, Kanniyakumari at Nagercoil, were referred to mediation and the parties have entered into compromise and on that basis, the case was disposed of on 19.03.2019 itself and whereunder, the parties have also agreed to withdraw the criminal cases pending against them sofar as the compound offences are concerned. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that for the reliefs claimed earlier, C.S.R. Was pending at the time of filing of the above petitions and as such, these petitions have become infructuous. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous.
