Crl.O.P(MD)No.816 of 2022 2.The petitioners are accused in P.R.C.No.24 of 2020 on the file Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, Madurai District. The petitioners seek transfer of case to some other Court. The petitioners' counsel states that the petitioners are having life threat. If that be so, it is duty of the first respondent to ensure appropriate security arrangements. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) states that the first respondent will take necessary action in this regard. It is not possible to direct transfer of case from one committal Court to any other Court merely because the accused face life threat. I do not find any ground to grant relief. The criminal original petition stands dismissed.
