PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the delimitation of all the hundred wards of Madurai Corporation as null and void and consequently, to direct the respondents herein to strictly follow the principles of natural justice and the provisions contained under the Tamil Nadu Delimitation Commission Act and rules framed under the Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Delimitation Regulations 2017 before completing a fresh delimitation process for the Madurai Corporation.
