ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to permit him to continue to use the petition mentioned public pipe. The stand of the authority is that on account of the acts committed by the petitioner, the flow to other taps has been seriously affected and that is why the petition mentioned public tap was closed.

3. It is stated by the authorities that the petitioner can very well use the nearby public taps in the very same Samathuvapuram. This statement made by the authorities is placed on record. It is also stated that for twenty houses in Samathuvapuram, individual water connection has been given. If the petitioner is given a similar facility, in my view it would solve the problem. The petitioner is permitted to submit a formal application in this regard and also pay the 2/4

necessary charges. Thereupon individual water connection to the petitioner shall be provided immediately and without delay. Till then the petitioner can very well use the nearby public water tap. This writ petition stands disposed of on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
