2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that a case has been registered against the petitioner herein in Crime No.823 of 2020 and now, the petitioner is facing investigation.

3. Therefore, the writ petition is devoid of merits and the same stands dismissed. No costs.
