ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent herein to conduct enquiry with the petitioner and respondents 2 to 5 herein, calling upon the respondents 2 to 5 herein to produce the death certificate of their parents A.Munusamy and Naguthai and consequently, issue the legal heir certificate to the petitioner and respondents 2 to 5 herein by including the name of the petitioner along with the respondents 2 to 5 herein as the legal heirs of their parents in accordance with law and guidelines framed in G.O(Ms)No.478 dated 29.09.2022.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner applied for legal heirship certificate through online and the same will be considered and after conducting enquiry, order will be passed.

In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and pass order, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the respondents 2 to 5, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
