O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition that the petitioner report before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Karur daily at 10.30 a.m and 05.00 p.m for 30 days imposed in Cr.M.P.No.2835 of 2023 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Court, Theni dated 16.08.2023.

2. The petitioner along with the other accused frequently threatened the defacto complainant by demanding money. Therefore, a case in Crime No.255 of 2023 has been registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 294(b) 1/3

and 506(2) of IPC. Therefore, the petitioner has filed Cr.M.P.No.2835 of 2023 before the learned Principal Sessions Court, Theni, seeking anticipatory bail and the same was allowed on 16.08.2023 with the condition that the petitioner report before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Karur daily at 10.30 a.m and 05.00 p.m for 30 days.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that suddenly the petitioner was admitted in the Government Hospital, Periyakulam for the purpose of taking treatment. Therefore, he was not in a position to comply with the above said order. Hence, he has filed this petition.

4. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition No.6(ii) imposed in Crl.M.P.No.2835 of 2023 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Court, Theni, dated 16.08.2023 is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police daily twice at 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m., until further orders. sd/- 19/03/2024 / TRUE COPY / /03/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar ( C.S.
