Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2018 and ensure the distribution of the first respondent corporation cable service by the fourth respondent . For Petitioner : Mr.M.Kannan For Respondents : Mr.S.Gunasekaran No.1 and 3 For Respondent No.2 : Mr.V.Anand Government Advocate.

O R D E R

The limited prayer sought in the present writ petition is for mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2018 and ensure the distribution of the first respondent corporation cable service by the fourth respondent

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner his representation dated 19.02.2018 has been kept pending indefinitely without conducting enquiry.

3. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the third respondent herein in ready to conduct enquiry if specific directions are issued.

4. It is needless to point out that whenever such applications of this nature is being made, the respondents are bound to act upon the same and cannot keep it pending indefinitely.

5. In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in his representation dated 19.02.2018 the third respondent herein is directed to consider the petitioner's representation by conducting an enquiry in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders after giving opportunity to the petitioners and any other persons who may be interested in the subject matter. Such an exercise shall be completed with in a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
