ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent Municipality to restore the possession of the property in Shop No.8, Thirumayam Road, Pudukottai, which was illegally taken over by the authorities. They have further prayed for appropriate departmental action as against some of the respondents and for a compensation of sum of Rs.5 lakhs.

2. While the writ petition was pending, the writ petitioner has been allotted another shop by way of proceedings, dated 02.02.2015 passed by the second respondent herein. The petitioner is still continuing to enjoy the said shop. In view of the subsequent orders passed by the second respondent herein, the petitioner does not like to proceed with the present writ petition.

3. In view of the subsequent developments, no further orders are required in the present writ petition. This Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 12.07.2022 Index :
