[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein, to consider and take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 23.08.2023 and to direct the respondents to initiate appropriate action against the respondents 4 and 5

and other erring officials of Central Workshop, Southern Railway, Golden Rock, Trichy, in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petitioner as a Public Interest Litigation, seeking to take action for the alleged scam committed by the officials in the Railway Department.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Deputy Solicitor General of India, on instructions, stated before this Court that necessary disciplinary action has been taken against the erring officials.

4. In view of the aforesaid statement, no further order is required in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs. [D.K.K., J.] [R.V., J.] 21.02.2024 Index :
