... Respondents PRAYER : Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondents for their contempt of Court on their wilful disobedience of the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.1363 of 2016 dated 01.11.2018. Prayer in WP(MD). 1363/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to approve the petitioner claim of reimbursement of Rs.1,25,000/- with consequential direction to the 4th respondent to disburse the amount of Rs.1,25,000/- with interest as per the National Health Insurance Scheme 2014.

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.1363 of 2016, the petitioner is before this Court with this contempt petition.

2.When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a sum of Rs.1,07,343/- has been paid. However, payment of Rs.31,092/- has been declined.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that since the petitioner did not produce the original bills, the amount was not sanctioned. Unless otherwise the original bills are produced, they will not be in a position to sanction the amount. 4.In reply, the petitioner submitted that he has already made a representation along with the original bills. 5.In view of the above, the respondents are expected to consider the original bills produced by the petitioner and sanction the eligible amount to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Since no prima facie contempt is made out, no further orders are required to be passed in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
