ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, for forbearing the Electricity Board from drawing electricity wires across the petitioner's agricultural land comprised in Survey No.195/5 in order to benefit the third and fourth respondents herein.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the electricity lines cannot be drawn over the agricultural properties which would cause hindrance to his agricultural activities.

3. The second respondent herein has filed a counter to the effect that originally service connection was effected over and above the property of the petitioner. However, the same has been disconnected. A new service connection has been provided to the private respondents 3 and 4 through an 2/4

alternative way without disturbing the property of the writ petitioner. Hence the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
