ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioner has challenged the proceedings dated 24.12.2021 issued by the District Collector, Madurai. The District Collector has given enter upon permission to Madurai Corporation to put up a water tank. The writ petition was listed for admission on 11.01.2022. No interim order was granted.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader pointed out that water tank has been fully constructed. Copy of the photograph have also been shown. Nothing survives for further adjudication. If the petitioner has any other legal rights, it is always open to the petitioner to agitate the same in the manner known to law. The writ petition is closed only for the reason that the tank has been constructed. If the petitioner seeks any 2/4

compensation or demand any other relief, the petitioner can certainly file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action. 4.With this liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
