[Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Declaration, to declare the amendment to Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Statistics Services issued in G.O.Ms.No.172 Planning Development and Special Initiatives (ST.3) Department dated 10.12.2012 and the consequent order in G.O.Ms.No.173 Planning Development and Special Initiatives (ST.1) Department dated 10.12.2012, issued by the 1st Respondent, as ultra vires, illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, unconstitutional and opposed to law and public policy.
2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has produced before this Court, the letter that was addressed to the Principal Secretary / Commissioner, Economics and Statistics by the petitioner to the effect that he would withdraw the Writ Petition.
3. There is no representation for the petitioner. Since the petitioner has also intimated / had given instruction to his counsel not to appear in this case, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not appearing today. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
