Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The only request made by the petitioner is that the second respondent should return the petition mentioned original certificates. It is well settled that the educational certificates are not marketable commodities and no lien can be exercised thereon.

3.In this view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to return the petition mentioned certificates forthwith and without any delay. The writ petition is allowed. No costs.
