PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to impugned order dated 29-03-2012 in Na.Ka.No.1/2012 A.K.TV issued by the third respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents not to disconnect any of the lines provided by the Petitioner firm, not to provide any signals through petitioner's firm's line other than the petitioner signal received from Arasu Cable TV Corporation.

ORDER

The order impugned in the writ petition has been passed by the third respondent herein, when the State Government was a Multi System Operators while the Analog Signal System was in force. After the introduction of the Digital Signal System, the State Government has lost its monopoly as Multi System Operators and the State as on today is not having any license as Multi System Operators at all. 2/4

2. Hence, nothing survives to be decided in the present writ petition. This Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
