ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner, seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.2157 of 2020 of Chinnamanur Police Station, Theni District, to any other Police Officials in Theni District.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that since the Investigation Officer in Crime No.2157 of 2020 has been transferred and new Sub Inspector of Police has taken charge of Chinnamanur Police Station, Theni District, the investigation need not be transferred to any other Police Officer.

3.Mr.R.Surianarayanan, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the investigation in Crime No.2157 of 2020 may be directed to be monitored by the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Theni District 4.Since there is no specific allegation against the present Police Officer, I do not deem fit to direct the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Theni District, to monitor the investigation in Crime No.2157 of 2020.

5. In the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
