ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1 in Crime No.79 of 2015 on the file of the respondent Police, was arrested on 12.06.2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 304(b) IPC and he seeks bail. 2.According to the de facto complainant, viz., N.Kamatchi, the accused had married his daughter 8 months ago, prior to the occurrence and she was sent out from the matrimonial home on 04.05.2015 and due to harassment, she committed suicide on 07.06.2015.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that accused Nos.2 and 3 were already released on bail by this Court. The learned counsel further submitted that there is no specific overt-act attributed against the petitioner. 4.Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) opposed the bail petition stating that the report of the Revenue Divisional Officer reveals that the deceased was harassed by the accused for demand of dowry and she committed suicide by consuming poison within 7 months from the date of her marriage and the investigation as at initial stage. 5.Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
